Hallo...after Hallowe'en

A pinch and a punch for the first of the month....well, that was yesterday. As with everything we do, we're late!
Just a quick note to say what a great night we had at the Olde Haunted Farmhouse in Horley on Friday night. It was indeed a sight to behold...in fact there were many sights to behold but at least we weren't the only ones in fancy dress this time! There were some fulsome pumpkins on display and a scary array of ghoulies...
Jerry was on sparkling form (even if his PA system was the equivalent of a broken down Lada) and continues to be one of the funniest people on the planet....we're just not sure WHICH planet!! Congratulations to the winners of the fancy dress contest though....and the raffle (once Jerry had got the numbers the right way up "909...no, 606!!"....classic!) The lady who won the talking Pooh was particularly impressed....allegedly we've been doing that for years!
T'was lovely to see the old faces again though...even behind the make up. And Karen, lovely to see you again....and sober! Most unusual...
Right, we're at the Half Moon in Charlwood next Friday so if anyone fancies a re-match, we'll be there!
I'm off to cheer on Lewis....hopefully it won't be a traditional British result...into the tyre wall on the first bend! C'mon...!!
